Terms of Service

These terms are a practical launch draft and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before substantial commercial scale.

1. The service

BonDetour provides personalized travel-planning information for trips to France. Depending on the plan purchased, the service may include an automatically generated itinerary, a human review of that itinerary, and/or a video planning call.

2. BonDetour is not a booking provider

BonDetour does not book flights, hotels, restaurants, rental cars, tours or other travel services on your behalf unless a future service explicitly says otherwise. We are not the operator of third-party travel services and are not responsible for their performance, availability, pricing, cancellations or terms.

3. Itinerary information can change

Opening hours, road conditions, market days, transportation schedules, prices, reservation rules, weather, attractions and local conditions can change without notice. You are responsible for checking important details with the relevant provider before traveling or booking.

4. AI and human review

Some itinerary content is generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes or produce outdated information. Human review can improve an itinerary but does not guarantee that every recommendation or factual detail will remain accurate at the time of travel.

5. Traveler responsibility

You are responsible for passports, visas, insurance, health requirements, accessibility needs, driving eligibility, safety decisions, reservations and compliance with laws or rules that apply to your trip.

6. Purchases

Paid plans are one-time purchases unless clearly stated otherwise. Current pricing and plan inclusions are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your purchase is also subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Delivery timing

Instant itineraries are generally generated shortly after successful payment. Human-reviewed plans are targeted for delivery within the time shown on the site, but unusual complexity, service interruptions or missing information can cause delays. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays.

8. Planning calls

Planning-call customers select an available time through the provided booking page. Calls may be rescheduled subject to availability. Please provide reasonable notice when changing a call.

9. Acceptable use

You may use your itinerary for personal travel. You may not resell, systematically copy, scrape or redistribute BonDetour content or use the service to interfere with the website, infrastructure or other customers.

10. Intellectual property

The BonDetour name, branding, site design and original content are owned by BonDetour or used with permission. Third-party maps, photographs, names and service marks remain the property of their respective owners.

11. No guarantee of travel outcome

Travel involves risks and personal preferences. BonDetour does not guarantee that every recommendation will suit every traveler or that a trip will be free of delays, closures, disruptions, injury, loss or other problems.

12. Limitation

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BonDetour is responsible only for providing the planning service purchased, not for losses caused by third-party travel providers, events outside our reasonable control, or decisions made using itinerary suggestions. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The version in effect when you purchase will apply to that purchase to the extent required by law.
